South-East Asia most open to China’s travel revival
Singapore | South-East Asia’s tourist economies are set to take advantage of the scrapping of travel bans as they rejected the mandatory COVID-19 testing of Chinese travellers embraced by the US, Japan, and several western countries.
Even as the virus tears through China’s 1.4 billion people, the world’s No.2 economy opens its borders on Sunday, a move that promises to unleash a wave of eager travellers after three years of strict curbs in the country.
