Singapore | For eight weeks last year Singaporeans were barely let out of their homes and their government has warned a repeat could be on the cards.

From Saturday, social gatherings will be limited to five people, offices capped at 50 per cent capacity, and gyms will close in a bid to reduce the growing number of locally transmitted COVID-19 cases. These restrictions will last at least until the end of May.
