Santa ScoMo could learn a lot in Japan this week
Sometimes Australians are so busy telling our stories that we forget to pay attention to our neighbours. And at the moment, Japan has plenty of interesting stories to tell.
Melanie BrockContributorKonnichiwa from Tokyo where the autumn leaves are falling and the number of coronavirus cases is increasing, again. The Nikkei is up. Sadly, so are bankruptcies, unemployment and, tragically, suicides. All in all, a difficult time for many.
People are still out, masks on of course, enjoying this gorgeous season. Terrific travel discounts are available under the Japanese government’s stimulus campaign, GoToTravel, so friends and families are visiting onsens and the like.
