Singapore | Josh Sanders was not in the least perturbed to hear Sydney’s daily tally of new COVID-19 cases had hit 633 as he and his family prepared to board a repatriation flight from Bali to Darwin on Wednesday.
“That’s a lot of cases from an Australian point of view but it pales into insignificance to what’s happening in Indonesia and elsewhere. If you overlay access to the Australian health system, and access to vaccines that work, going back to a Sydney with 633 cases a day isn’t too much from our perspective.”
