Kuala Lumpur | Malaysia’s former prime minister Najib Razak has rejected as “bizarre” suggestions he put stolen money into his personal account, as the first of several trials related to the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal creeps towards a conclusion.

Tuesday was Mr Najib's last day in the witness box in Kuala Lumpur’s High Court, where he is facing charges of criminal breach of trust, money laundering and abuse of power related to former IMDB subsidiary SRC International.
