Kean Wong, a former journalist at The Australian Financial Review, has returned to Australia after he was arrested last month in Malaysia in relation to a book he edited three years ago.
Wong, who is a Malaysian citizen and a permanent resident in Australia, was arrested on October 16 while trying to renew his passport. He touched down in Sydney on Thursday, sources confirmed.
