Climate fight hinges on China’s $US6.5trn green investments challenge

Seoul | China needs to unleash $US6.5 trillion ($8.8 trillion) in green investments and radically reorganise its economy if the planet is to win the fight against climate change.
The warning follows COP26, where hopes that governments would commit to bolder decarbonisation targets were dashed by India and China watering down pledges to end coal-fired power.
