With wars in Ukraine and Gaza, a surge in trade tariffs, a crisis at the World Trade Organisation and US threats against the International Criminal Court, the “rules-based order” that Australia has promoted time and again to its neighbours is under attack.
Perversely perhaps, this offers an opportunity for Australia in its engagement with ASEAN.
