"Within ASEAN there is unity and a very common approach to looking at the business environment. Australia's relationship has evolved and developed over 40 years, including in the most recent period in free trade agreements with member-states and with a regional agreement. There are a whole set of historical, political and economic circumstances which come into play here which provide the opportunities for us. [The trade agreements] complement each other.
