ASEAN countries plead with China for more vaccines

Singapore/Jakarta | Indonesia’s Foreign Minister, Retno Marsudi, has asked China to do more to boost vaccine supplies as the region races to bolster defences against increasing numbers of active COVID-19 cases.
Ms Retno made the plea at a meeting of China and the Association of South-east Asian Nations (ASEAN) at Chongqing, south-west China.
