All quiet on India-Pakistan border after days of air strikes

New Delhi | Indian and Pakistani authorities said on Monday there were no reported incidents of firing overnight along the heavily militarised region between their countries, the first time in recent days the two nations did not shoot at each other.

India and Pakistan at the weekend reached an understanding to stop all military actions on land, in the air and at sea, in a US-brokered ceasefire to stop escalating hostilities between the two nuclear-armed rivals that threatened regional peace.
