The graffiti tunnel off Manning Road at Sydney University has long been a symbol of free expression and protest.

Ever since the Vietnam War days, students and others have painted and repainted the tunnel, protesting against all manner of things from university and student union fees to gay marriage and conflicts ranging from Iraq to Ukraine and now Gaza.
