Pro-Palestine ‘tent cities’ not going anywhere, students vow

Design student Khalid Abbas says the nearly 100 tents pitched by pro-Palestinian protesters on the Melbourne University campus more than a week ago are not going anywhere as long as the conflict in Gaza rolls on.

“The tents keep growing by the day. You have to be on the right side of history,” Abbas tells AFR Weekend. “We will not be moved.”
