Cranbrook settles with former headmaster, but ABC in line of fire

Sydney private school Cranbrook has made a confidential settlement with former principal Nicholas Sampson while acknowledging the basis for his resignation “may have caused confusion”.

But Mr Sampson will forge ahead with an official complaint against the ABC’s Four Corners program, saying its reporting in an episode titled Old School was “wildly inaccurate, lacking in impartiality and in contravention of a number of the ABC’s own editorial standards”.
