ANU cuts 10 per cent of its workforce in pandemic hit

More than 10 per cent of The Australian National University's workforce will lose their jobs as the scale of the COVID-19 pandemic widens, according to vice-chancellor Brian Schmidt.
On Wednesday, ANU said an extra 215 full-time positions would be compulsorily cut. That comes on top of 250 staff who have already volunteered for redundancy.
