Five things to know about the new Qantas flight reward scheme
Qantas has unveiled the details of its much-heralded frequent flyer program overhaul. The major change to hit Australia’s largest frequent flyer scheme, which has more than 16 million members, is the unveiling of a new category of reward flights, Classic Plus.
Qantas chief executive Vanessa Hudson says it’s “one of the biggest expansions we’ve made to the Frequent Flyer program in its 35-year history”, and the airline claims the revised system will “make it easier to travel to places like London, Tokyo, New York and Singapore with Qantas Points, even during peak times”.
