The inevitable aches and pains of ageing are one thing. But suffering heart failure and fluid on the lungs only days after your 80th birthday is a bit rich by anyone’s standards.
It’s been quite a month for entrepreneur and former ad man John Singleton, who quietly celebrated entering his octogenarian decade on November 9 with family and close friends at his Mount White horse stud, Strawberry Hill Farm, on NSW’s Central Coast.
