Jay and Nathan Ellis are typical of many young home buyers across the nation growing increasingly nervous about the potential impact of even a small mortgage rate rise on their family budget.
The couple, who have a one-year old son, Hugo, live in Valley View, about 13kms north-east from central Adelaide where a single-storey, three-bedroom brick house is going to cost about $420,000.
