WA government department spawns international tech firm Advara
A West Australian government department that created a cloud-based platform to automate its processes will spin out as an international start-up business as part of a commercialisation push it says has already reaped $59.3 million for taxpayers over three years.
WA's Land Information Authority Landgate built automated platform the New Land Registry to improve its own processes, but has now formed a company called Advara to sell the system and consulting services to other agencies at home and abroad.
