This fintech lets you pay for fuel with bitcoin
With average fuel prices soaring above $2 a litre – the highest average petrol and diesel prices since the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – a small cohort of Aussies have turned to cryptocurrencies to pay for their petrol.
Consumers with a Crypto.com account can use their phone to buy fuel at more than 500 OTR Group owned fuel and convenience stores converting thanks to an Aussie invention that converts over 25 types of cryptocurrency into Australian dollars in real time.
