Step #1 of the plan for review was a simple one: use the Vitruvian Trainer+ in the TV room downstairs, just enough to build up enough strength to carry it to the gym upstairs.

I’m using the word “gym” there in the way it’s most commonly used: strictly in the aspirational sense. In real life, what’s upstairs is a “store room” I hardly ever visit, full of cardboard boxes. But I like to think of it as a gym, in the same way most people like to think they will go to one.
