Matt Tripp, who made a small fortune in wagering start-up Sportsbet, is taking a punt on an app he reckons could be as big as social behemoth Facebook.
Mr Tripp has grabbed a 9 per cent slice of Memories, a tech start-up taking life journals and memorials for departed friends and family into the virtual world.
