Tech Council of Australia chief executive Damian Kassabgi is leaving the high-profile lobby group just 16 months after taking the top job amid concerns raised about his ability to work effectively from his home in Byron Bay.
The surprise exit of the former Afterpay executive came amid broad dissatisfaction from some members about a lack of profile, and a growing desire from Kassabgi to spend more time with his family.
