Steve Smith hits a six-bagger with Snappr investment
Aussie-founded online photography marketplace Snappr has raised $14 million at a valuation that delivers big on-paper gains to early investors, including Australian cricketer Steve Smith.
Founded in Sydney in 2016 by UNSW alumni Matt Schiller and Ed Kearney, Snappr now contracts freelance photographers in 200 different cities. It claims to have algorithmically matched them to jobs for 172 of the Fortune 500 companies, while 50,000 restaurant menu shoots have been arranged through the platform.
