Reactive Australian companies more vulnerable to offshore rivals
Australian companies are fast running out of time to lift their paltry investment in developing new ideas if they are to avoid losing out to start-ups and global competitors, prominent innovation experts say.
Daniel Petre, partner at AirTree Ventures and one of the country’s most prominent venture capitalists, and Telstra Health chief medical officer Vincent McCauley, also took a swipe at government attempts to pick winners.
