NSW looks to boost start-ups with procurement changes

The NSW government is considering changes to its procurement rules to encourage its agencies to use local start-ups, a move that could provide selected small businesses with a big revenue lift while also tackling an entrenched attitude in the bureaucracy that bigger is best when comes to choosing suppliers.
