SS&C Technologies and FNZ heat up GBST bidding war
The competition for ASX-listed financial services, broking and wealth management software company GBST is heating up, with a bidding war emerging between private equity-backed global fintech FNZ and Nasdaq-listed firm SS&C Technologies.
Just hours after GBST revealed SS&C Technologies had beaten out local company Bravura's $3-per-share non-binding proposal by putting forward a $3.25-per-share offer, Street Talk revealed FNZ had swooped in with a $3.50- per-share offer.
