Microsoft sends the right cyber signals
The tech giant’s $5 billion investment in a like-minded liberal democracy sends a powerful message. Digital national security challenges will only be solved through meaningful partnership between government and industry.

Microsoft says its investment will take the form of hyperscale cloud computing and AI infrastructure, upskilling Australians to seize the opportunities of AI, and enhancing our nation’s cyber security capability.
