King River Capital has lined up a heavyweight list of backers as it raises more than $150 million for a new fund that will invest exclusively in artificial intelligence start-ups, taking its assets to about $1.2 billion.
The Sydney-headquartered crypto and software investor’s new vehicle is being backed by retirement fund Future Super, along with the wealthy Fairfax and Smorgon families and former ANZ chairman David Gonski.
