Hostplus wants $2b start-up founder sacked, Airtree in the crossfire

One of Australia’s biggest industry super funds has accused the boss of $2 billion Australian start-up Employment Hero of “erratic and unlawful behaviour” and urged one of the company’s biggest investors to consider sacking him in a private letter.

The publication of the letter from the $100 billion Hostplus to venture capital firm Airtree Ventures escalates a dispute over whether software companies like Employment Hero can earn money from advertising super funds to new starters.
