Godfathers of Australian AI cash in as businesses play catch-up

One of the country’s oldest specialist data businesses has found itself in hot demand more than twenty years after it was founded, hosting more than 1000 board members and C-suite executives who are looking for guidance on how to use artificial intelligence tools in their businesses.

Quantium was founded in 2002 as a data analytics firm, before specialising in big data. Now the company, which is majority owned by supermarket giant Woolworths, is a consultancy and advises companies on what AI systems they need to analyse the data from employees and customers.
