London | The Albanese government has pulled in global support for its latest salvo against Facebook owner Meta Platforms, with an 11-country summit in London backing Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones’ call for the reluctant company to rid its platforms of scammers and fraudsters.

A communiqué issued from the summit, which included ministers from the US, Britain, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Korea, Singapore and New Zealand, called on industry to up its game.
