Medical technology company CogState yesterday reported a 24 per cent increase in revenue to $5.1 million for the half year to December 31, 2009, up from $3.9 million the previous comparable period, exceeding earlier guidance. The jump in revenue was largely credited to a twofold increase in sales contracts signed over the six months to January equal to a combined value of $6.35 million. Rachael Bolton

RailCorp has extended a three-year contract with Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand to provide managed services for its desktop support, server management and data centres. Fujitsu said the extension would cover the next two years and would deliver enhanced information security.
