The corporate regulator has moved to haul a former director of Blockchain Global before the Federal Court over alleged breaches of his director’s duties during his eight-year stint at the collapsed cryptocurrency company.
But the Australian Securities and Investments Commission said on Wednesday it suspected Liang “Allan” Guo had left Australia following its lengthy investigation into the 2019 collapse of Blockchain Global’s cryptocurrency exchange, ACX Exchange.
