Thirteen years after expat Irish tech entrepreneur David Walsh arrived back in Australia to rebuild his life after the global financial crisis left him almost broke, his rapidly expanding property tech firm CIM has closed a funding round that values it at almost $100 million.

CIM (Continuous Intelligent Monitoring) has picked up the lion’s share of a burgeoning Australian market for tech smarts that measure the performance of commercial buildings, allowing their owners to run them at optimal performance levels from both a cost and environmental perspective.
