As Australians confront higher costs in many essential goods and services, we have good reason to be concerned about concentration in our economy.

Multiple sectors are dominated by two or three major players, or have high barriers to entry for new competitors. Many have rightly been under public scrutiny as people across the country grapple with the rising cost of living.
