Australia’s biggest technology company Atlassian has failed to hit its targets for reducing carbon emissions from business travel, but says private jet use by its chief executive Mike Cannon-Brookes is not to blame.
The $61 billion Nasdaq-listed tech giant established ambitious emissions reduction goals in 2019 that included reducing travel emissions by 25 per cent by 2025. But this year’s sustainability report, which was published on Monday, shows the figure has actually increased by 135 per cent.
