ASX-listed company board directors have been told their personal email addresses and phone numbers may have been leaked as part of a global hack which has affected hundreds of Salesforce clients around the world.

Diligent, a US portal which services the bulk of ASX boards, wrote to a number of Australian directors last week to advise that their data may have been stolen after hackers accessed Salesforce’s systems through one of its third-party AI chatbots, Salesloft Drift, in August.
