Aussie music platform cranks the dial with $42m raising
Australian-owned online music platform Songtradr, which is backed by a number of Rich Listers including WiseTech Global boss Richard White, has closed a $42 million ($US30 million) capital raise led by wealthy family offices, as it considers an ASX listing among its next steps.
The round, which was first flagged by Street Talk, had participation from the St Baker family office, which is connected to energy sector businessman Trevor St Baker (who has an estimated wealth of $647 million according to the 2019 Rich List) and values the company at $US165 million.
