Experiences start-up AmazingCo has surprised its cohort of high-profile investors by cracking the lucrative US market quicker than expected, leading the company to raise an additional $5.1 million.

The business, which was founded by husband and wife team Jeremy Cox and Silvia Hope alongside technical co-founder Nick Brozovic in 2012, started out as a children's entertainment business but now offers thousands of tailor-made experiences aimed at couples, families, friends and companies wanting to do something fun in their city.
