Buyout firm Pacific Equity Partners has tapped sell-side advisers for UP Education, following a hotly contested beauty parade last month that saw a bunch of investment banks and boutique advisory firms peddle their wares.
Street Talk can reveal Stanton Road Partners, a boutique firm founded by Peter Brownie, and Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley have been hired to run an auction for the business, which makes about $100 million in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation.
