Sydney private equity firm Pacific Equity Partners is in talks to acquire ASX-listed SG Fleet. While the deal terms have not been agreed, three sources with knowledge of the situation said negotiations were “well-advanced.”

PEP has approached SG Fleet’s Andrew Reitzer-chaired board and has been granted due diligence, the sources said. PEP is advised by Barrenjoey, Citi and Allens while SG Fleet is taking its counsel from Bank of America and Gilbert + Tobin.
