Prestige new electric vehicles being sold for a loss by dealers

Car dealers are being forced to sell luxury electric vehicles for a loss to shift stock as demand at the top end of the EV market succumbs to shifting consumer tastes and competition from cheaper Chinese carmakers.
Some dealerships face an oversupply of electric vehicles priced above $70,000 from prestige brands including Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
