Mike Cannon-Brookes needs $157m for SunCable; flyer hits inboxes

Mike Cannon-Brookes’ ambitious plans to send renewable energy from Darwin to Singapore via a 4300-kilometre subsea cable is moving into its next phase, with the technology billionaire enlisting bankers to launch a funding round.

Street Talk can reveal SunCable has tapped Moelis and Align Capital Partners to kick off a $US100 million ($157 million) capital raise to fund the development of its solar energy infrastructure network, dubbed Australia-Asia Power Link.
