Childbirth medtech eyes US market with $30m raise

VitalTrace, a homegrown medtech that’s designed a device to monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during childbirth, has launched a Series B capital raising to put it on the pathway to commercialisation.

The West Australian start-up, founded by doctor Arjun Kaushik in 2016, is targeting local and international institutional investors for $30 million, tapping Acova Capital to launch a non-deal roadshow and capital raising.
