Former Macquarie head of fixed income pops up at boutique debt adviser

Macquarie veteran Alan Cameron has joined mid-market debt adviser Neu Capital as its inaugural senior adviser as it seeks to expand its British footprint.

Cameron notched up a 16-year career at the bank including as its head of securitisation and asset-backed structured finance since 2009. He worked on big-ticket bond deals and mortgage portfolios, invested in start-ups and helped establish the unit in the UK. When he hung up his boots last year, he was an executive director, which is the silver donut’s version of senior managing director.
