ASX-listed Lotus Resources, capitalised at almost $500 million, wants fresh funds to put towards ramping up production at its 85 per cent-owned Kayelekera mine in Malawi.
The Perth-headquartered uranium developer has tapped Barrenjoey Capital Partners to help it raise as much as $70 million, people briefed on the matter, who asked to remain anonymous, told this column on Tuesday.
