AustralianSuper-backed Federation Mining gears up for second half IPO

Six months after Federation Mining made a play for neighbouring explorer Siren Gold, the New Zealand gold player is plotting its next move.

Street Talk understands the Mark Le Messurier and Jim Askew-led company, which is 90 per cent owned by $367 billion superannuation juggernaut AustralianSuper, has told investors it’s progressing plans for an initial public offering on the ASX later this year.
