What’s with the Australian Securities Exchange? It’s been nine days since a software glitch caused the stockmarket to freeze trading abruptly at 2:48 in the afternoon – and still the exchange is yet to bring back one of its key services, tailor-made combinations (TMC).
Brokers use the TMC service to enter multiple option orders designed to work together; for example, an option over a BHP Billiton share that will expire at the end of March but can then automatically be rolled over to April.
