Time zones were not our friend when reporting on new US resident Anthony Pratt’s New York party over the weekend. See, like a guest leaving after a few introductions (our sources quickly spied Daniel Andrews and Tony Abbott), we missed the real drama. But luckily the New York Post was on hand, to capture it for posterity.

Columnist and party guest Cindy Adams told her readers that comedian and actor Chris Rock stormed out in a huff from the Mandarin Oriental’s intertwined hotel rooms sometime during the second course. This was after he spied a camera aimed at him. But walking out on a billionaire? Who does Rock think he is? Surely Pratt will opt for more accommodating talent in future.
